Description
The Information Architecture Advisor ensures that the Ministry's strategic objectives are aligned with the optimal application of best practices and standards in information management. They are responsible for information modeling and structuring. They collaborate in establishing data governance practices and contribute to their implementation. They oversee the production of information architecture deliverables and provide advisory support to development, operations, and management teams.
Requirements
C. Eligibility criteria (minimum requirements): Must speak, write and understand French
1. Possess an undergraduate university degree (Bachelor's) in computer science, in
business administration or a related field
2. Possess eight (8) years of professional experience as an IT architecture consultant,
including five (5) years as an information architecture consultant
3. Have participated in three (3) architectural mandates for projects exceeding 1000 JP each
4. Possess five (5) years of experience in information architecture/modeling or
data, including two (2) years in relational modeling
5. Possess three (3) years of experience with the SQL language

Activities
• Design and maintain information models that meet business needs (tool: Enterprise Architect)
• Participate in ministerial and/or governmental communities of practice regarding information
• Develop and evolve the conceptual corporate data model in collaboration with enterprise architecture
• Define the data conversion strategy and produce the associated documentation
• Ensure the consistency and sustainability of conceptual information models and make them accessible to stakeholders
• Contribute to data governance and the implementation of information management tools and procedures
• Supporting project teams in defining information needs
• Ensure compliance with ministerial standards and guidelines regarding information architecture
• Participate in mapping information objects and facilitating a community of practice in data management
• Have the deliverables validated and approved by the relevant stakeholders or committees
