Description

The Exchange architecture consultant provides expertise to the Ministry's Microsoft Exchange Online solution operations teams. They advise teams on resolving complex Exchange-related incidents and oversee on-premises Exchange Online and Exchange SE technology monitoring, while also liaising with other architecture teams.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria (minimum requirements): Must speak, write, and understand French.
  • Possess an undergraduate university degree (Bachelor's) in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Possess ten (10) years of professional experience in information technology, including eight (8) years of professional experience as an IT architecture consultant
  • Possess eight (8) years of professional experience in Exchange architecture, including one (1) three (3) year or longer mandate in a hybrid web (online) and on-premises environment for projects exceeding 800 JP.
  • Possess five (5) years of experience as an architecture consultant using the Microsoft Exchange platform in an organization with over 1000 employees and more than one email domain.
  • Having completed two (2) mandates of more than five (5) months each as an architecture consultant on the implementation, architecture, configuration and management of a Microsoft Exchange environment
  • Possess two (2) years of experience in writing PowerShell queries and scripts for Exchange

Responsibilities

Activities
  • Advise Ministry team members on resolving complex Exchange-related incidents and handling requests
  • Perform the most complex tasks of projects and initiatives (designing architectural plans, configuring messaging services)
  • Oversee the on-premises technology monitoring of Exchange Online and Exchange SE and advise the director on the directions to be taken
  • Liaise with other architecture teams within the Ministry to advance joint projects
  • Write PowerShell queries and scripts for Exchange
  • Managing hybrid Exchange environments (online and on-premises)
